Tuition

Tuition takes place at our Newground site aims to encourage members to improve their standard of flying and safety, and to prove that standard to one of our Examiners. The scheme is run by the BMFA as a National Scheme.

The club also has a ‘Solo’ status that allows flyers to fly unassisted at the field and requires proof of competent flying to an examiner.

No vehicles are allowed in the field, except on occasions approved by the Committee. All gates must be kept closed at all times.
5

FIVE

The first member to arrive each day must unlock the road gates and leave closed with the chain and the club’s combination padlock securely locked to one of the gates with the code scrambled.
